Dear Competitors,

 

As the organisers of the WDSF competitions MARIBOR OPEN 2014, which will be held on 5^th, 6th and 7^th December 2014 in Maribor – Slovenia, we would like to give you some information about the competition:

 

– there will be WDSF WORLD OPEN STANDARD and WDSF WORLD OPEN LATIN competitions at MARIBOR OPEN 2014

– there will be WDSF competitions forJunior II, Youth, Senior I Standard and Latin, Senior II Standard and Latin, Senior III Standard, Senior IV Standard

– there will be WDSF PD OPEN Master Class I and II Open Standard competitions

– there will be Open competitions for Juvenile I/II, Junior I

– there will be basic competitions (3 and 5 dances) for all age categories

– we will welcome 26 adjudicators from 15 different countries;

 – WDSF WORLD OPEN STANDARD and WORLD OPEN LATIN as well as WDSF Senior I, II, III and IV Open STANDARD and WDSF Senior I and II Open

 

LATIN competitions will be judged by 13 judges from 13 different countries.

 

Prize money for WDSF World Open Competitions!

 

 

Take notice of the high score of WDSF Ranking Points for WDSF WORLD OPEN! They get an addition of +100% (!) to the basis points in total!!!

 

– 13 adjudicators from 13 WDSF member countries are judging in Maribor. That means an addition to the basis points of 25%,

– as there will be (as always) more than 48 couples in the competition in Maribor, the basis points get an addition of 25%,

– at Maribor Open there are usually 6 couples from the top 36 of the WDSF World ranking list and the basis points get another addition of 10%,

– as there are usually couples from more than 18 WDSF member associations in Maribor the basis points get another addition of 40%,

We remain of course at your disposal for any further information, hotel accommodation, transfer,… and we would be delighted to welcome you in Maribor.
